This is Rwanda Peaberry—a sweet, citrusy stunner sourced from RWACOF’s network of washing stations across Nyamasheke and Rutsiro, two of Rwanda’s most prized coffee-growing districts. These tiny, round peaberries may be the underdogs of the bean world, but they pack serious flavor: floral tea aromatics, lemongrass, earl grey, baking spice, and a mandarin orange finish that’ll make you question what you thought you knew about coffee.

What’s a peaberry, anyway? It’s a naturally occurring mutation where one bean grows in the coffee cherry instead of two. More room, more flavor, more fun. And while some folks chase peaberries like craft beer collectors hunt rare saisons, we’re just here to say: this lot is magic.

Grown at elevations between 1600–2000 meters, this Bourbon-variety coffee is cultivated with care. The folks at RWACOF aren’t just processors, they’re partners. They run farmer outreach programs focused on soil health, environmental sustainability, seedling nurseries, and improving access to capital. This is coffee that supports better farming practices and better futures.
